I feel fine to wear a lot of makeup! Typically, I will wear a lot of makeup for evening outings. For daytime, I stick to a more natural look. No real reason for this except for that is what I feel comfortable with. I also feel that a more dramatic makeup is more appropriate for evening wear. Just my personal feeling.
Absolutely beautiful! Part 2 Please! I would love to learn how to add a few lash clusters. Thank you for giving us some love 💋👵🏻😉
Not comfortable in this level of makeup because I do not look healthy enough. The makeup seems to make me look bizarre. Of course I've never had it professionally done.
GORGEOUS.
any ideas for application that don't involve stretching the skin around the eyes while applying?
I dunno: like, half a dozen products to apply before getting to make-up? And 15 minutes just on the eyes? I mean, she looks great and all, but at 71, and with a seven-minute (tops) routine that includes brushing my teeth, I think I will have to pass. Makeup can be fun, sure, but it shouldn’t be work, or time-consuming.
LOOKS BETTER WITHOUT THE MAKEUP 😁
I moved to VA from Ca recently. Specifically from the Eastbay of San Francisco to a more rural area where women here don’t dress up as much or do make up. I have always worn make up and love to be a girly girl. It has been a difficult decision to either stay with the real me or to “blend” into the more life here. I have chosen to give up the Smokey Eye look and do a more minimalist look that is still me, but that fits in better with women here.
My saving grace is date night where I dress and make up for me and for my husband and look forward to it!
BTW, I am 71 and still keep the rest of me together too!
I love the way you teach, please keep on doing it, I always look either too made up or too tired, plase help!
I like this video. I still can't believe some influencers are doing things the old way though. I just read the book GPT-4: Making money with AI by C.K. and it's already paying off in just a few days. Some influencers are still behind. I still like the vid though.
I don’t fill comfortable because of the bad creasing that my concealer does I am 58
I love dramatic look . I do every day but I am European and that is normal for us
She looks stunning. Loving this technique. At 55, I would try this look – with your instruction, for sure. The skin is so different at this age, that it is scary trying new ideas. Then, you don't want to make yourself look older, with either the wrong colors, or not wanting to look like a clown!. Thank you ✨
Go Gabi go! Haha, well I think I've toned everything down at 49 mainly because my eyes have aged more than any other area of my body 😅 So I use very strategic colours and placements around my eyes now. I tend to tight line more than doing big wings as I used to. Then I extend them outwards and upwards slightly. I've always accentuated my brows since the 80s lol but now I'm so thrilled by the amazing brow products available, whereas I used to literally wing it with some mascara! Sometimes I wear a strong red lip and I usually contour as I'm blessed with good skin and teeth. So I can make them stand out more and pop. But I think I might try a smoked eye again now you've inspired me and probably pair it with pale/ ombre lip 💋 ❤
Gabi , in your other videos you used a foundation brush , if you could tell me where to purchase the one you use, and the mac cream blush and Mac eyelid primer
I would definitely love to see the video for how to apply the individual lashes.
Thanks for talking so much about the moisturizer. I didn’t realize that was such a key. I’ve been using the powder kind of foundation for a while now, and even yesterday with the new make up line I just gave myself, I wasn’t completely satisfied that the color was right, but I probably wasn’t bold enough. I tend to keep it pretty translucent out of fear of putting on too much. In fact, I could see some of it hanging onto some of my too dry skin.
I almost entirely stopped wearing eye make up, including mascara, a long time ago mainly because of sensitivity. My biggest problem, though, is that I have a hard time finding the right color of foundation, and the wrong color makes people see my make up before they see ME. There seriously needs to be a better way to find the right shade.
The idea of putting on full make up every day is not appealing to me because 1) it does take a fair amount of time, 2) nobody is going to see me anyway, 3) I do have those eye sensitivities, and 4) I am really no longer skilled at doing it, and cannot even come close to what I see the young woman wearing today. I never had a steady enough hand to apply eyeliner, but the brush and POWDER technique is something I have not tried before, so thank you for sharing that idea! I will be trying that.
The natural look is getting a lot harder to obtain at 66 and retirement has made some room in my lifestyle to want to experiment with make up again. I’m trying to figure out how to apply it correctly, so thanks for your help and encouragement in that regard!
I never used make up when young but I would love to learn how to do it but I do not know how to prepare my face. What type of moisturizer or sunscreen is good for my skin. I do not know how to do it.
I find it very difficult to get that balance between makeup looking natural, although trying to disguise my wrinkles without it appearing as if the makeup is plastered on. I’m 83 year young and am very strict about cleansing, and using serum’s and moisture creams. I’m very pleased to say that my skin appears about 20 years younger and I have no blemishes or brown spots.
Stage 2 would be wonderful, yes please.
You model came out beautiful and I learned some new things to do with my makeup. I put it on and in my mirror it looks good but then when I step back it doesn’t look like I have any on. Kind of frustrating, I’m 70 and don’t want to look over done. Thanks for you help with how to apply makeup. ; )
